Lawn-Bowlers Return to Tweed Heads
Lawn bowls enthusiasts from all over Australia and New Zealand will once again flock to the stunning Tweed Heads for the annual competitions held at the Tweed Heads Bowls Club in July. These three competitions run from the 3rd – 26th of the month and will guarantee that accommodation books out quickly in this picturesque coastal town!
The month kicks off with the Tweed Prestige open mixed singles, and is followed by the Gold Coast Winter Bowls Carnival which runs to the end of the month. During this time, New Zealand fanatics will also make their way over to compete in the PBA challenge singles.
All events are held at the Tweed Heads Bowls Club, which features four outdoor bowling greens and a full-sized, eight-rink, air-conditioned indoor bowling green – making it the ideal destination to sharpen up your skills before the big competitions!
